Christmas Day No.1

After a day of hanging out with George (almost taking up a single floorboard and then thinking better of it, then putting up a wonky shelf) I met the Schnoor at Picaddilly and we picked up some food from the Japan Center and mooched through Trafalgar Square on our way to Charing Cross for teh train home.

We settled down to our own little Christmas complete with a tree made out of newspaper and a star made from old train tickets. Karolin leaves for Germany on Thursday *sniff* and has eaten a bit too much wasabi in the picture.

We ended the evening with a game of Scrabble which K had given me as a present. Final score: Karolin - 222, Tom - 232. A triumph!!! Best scoring words: Karolin - Zebra (32 points with a double word score), Tom - Jelly (also 32 points). Then again, Karolin is fluent in more than just English . . . bah!
